PPE and Work Area Checks

All personnel using the machine and attachment must read and understand the operator's manual and all safety decals before beginning use.
Operators should locate and put on necessary and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for use with the machinery or equipment before beginning use.
Operators must make sure that work areas are well-lit, dry, and clean before beginning work. Sawdust, paper and oily rags are a fire hazard and can damage machinery and equipment.
Operators must change clothing and remove jewelry that could become entangled in the machinery or equipment they operate.

Machine and Equipment Checks

If a lock or tag is in place on a piece of machinery or equipment, it may not be removed and the machinery or equipment may not be used.
Only qualified personnel may install or repair equipment.

Operating Procedures

All necessary personal protective equipment is worn while the machinery or equipment is running.
The operator must remain in the machine at all times while using the attachment.
Operators must always use the proper piece of machinery or equipment for the job.
Operators may not remove a guard for any reason while operating any piece of machinery or equipment.
If an operator is distracted or unable to focus on the work with the machinery or equipment, they must stop work with that machinery or equipment.
Upon finishing with a piece of equipment or machine, basic maintenance must be performed.
If using inserts, ensure there is proper grip on the pole or pipe and that the opening of the jaws is less than the diameter of the pole or pipe when clamped.

The rotation cycle has a mechanical stop so the hydraulic cylinders can't exceed the maximum extension.

The main rotating shaft is a solid 3-1/2" 4140 OQT shaft sleeved with a 4-1/2" OD x 7/16" tube to relieve stress for the tool.

The quick attach plate has a gusset on top for extra support. It also had doublers at the pin holes to prevent tear out.

All hydraulic hoses are Cordura protected. Hoses have an operating pressure of 3,000 psi and burst pressure of 12,000 psi. The spring hose unit ensures the hydraulic lines will not get pinched and keeps the hoses out of the dirt.
